Megan has served as Spokesperson for organizations including:

•  Kansas Children’s Service League
•  Miss Kansas America Organization
•  Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence
•  Project Nightlight
•  Dougherty Laser Vision.

Megan was selected as Miss Kansas 2004 and served the Kansas Children’s Service League as spokesperson for the state of Kansas. During that year she spoke to over 50,000 people in 5 states and regularly appeared on radio and television to market the Miss Kansas Pageant and promote community events. She competed in the Miss America 2005 pageant broadcast live by ABC from Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 2004 and placed in the Top 10 finalists.

As spokesperson for Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence, Megan shared her message for awareness and prevention with 68,000 people across the country, lobbied Congress in Washington D.C., recorded several PSAs, hosted a state-wide legislative day, and regularly appeared on radio and television to promote domestic violence awareness. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the KCSDV.

During 2008, Megan served as spokesperson for Project Nightlight, a child abuse and domestic violence prevention program in Los Angeles, CA. She had the opportunity to speak with over 300 children ages 8 through 17 about child abuse education and safety resources.  Additionally she advertised a Child Abuse Prevention Hotline on 300 billboards in L.A. County.

As spokesperson for Dougherty Laser Vision, Megan represented Dougherty Laser Vision at the gifting suites for the 2008 Academy Awards, the 2008 Oscar EBONY Party, the 2008 Emmy’s, and the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

Megan has performed for over 10 million people and has been seen on NASCAR, EXTRA, Miss America on ABC, Sunflower Journeys PBS Special, and hosting Destination Wichita, a travel tourism show. She also was selected to perform at Mary Kay Inc.’s 2007 Seminar before 15,000 people.

Born in Wisconsin, raised in Texas, Wisconsin and Kansas, Megan graduated from Kapaun Mount Carmel High School in Wichita, KS. At 21, Bushell graduated magna cum laude from Wichita State University where she earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Music Business and Entrepreneurship. She recently earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
